Please let me clarify the position re hypnosis training in the UK as there are people charging thousands of pounds to unsuspecting students on the basis of some sort of accreditation or affiliation. Theres NO SUCH THING as a legally recognized or properly accredited course
anywhere in UK, it’s all marketing, to part you with “thousands” (so a poor student recounted yesterday) of your hard earned pounds. I even heard one of the main culprits in this area, at an event yesterday, say that his curriculum was full of, amongst the good stuff, “plenty of fluff”. Even worse, then the culprits require people to pay recurring yearly membership fees to so called professional trade bodies that have frankly no power or standing in anyones eyes bar their own. Do you really want to spend hard earned money and plenty of cash on fluff and yearly dues to “made-up” professional bodies?

The industry alway has been and always will be self-regulated, meaning that you don’t have to be a member of anything.

Well. Given that I was getting frustrated with trying to find good website designers able to actually communicate in a normal fashion, I decided to take the bull by the horns and move my site to a very simple new wordpress one that I can manage more easily myself.
